Who Cares About Customization When You Can Just Start Typing?

In today's digital age, it's easy to get caught up in the aesthetics of our devices' interfaces. But let's be real - when you're sitting at a keyboard, who really cares what the start menu looks like? With Windows 11 on my Asus Vivobook Flip 14, I've found that this is especially true.

As someone who's used to typing out what they need quickly and efficiently, I don't find myself missing the ability to customize every aspect of the interface. In fact, I've grown accustomed to simply tapping the Windows key, starting to type the name of what I want to run, and hitting enter to get where I need to go.

Of course, this wouldn't be a big deal if my laptop were just an ordinary machine. But as someone who's been using it for a little over a month now, I've come to appreciate the fact that even with some limitations on customization, Windows 11 has been working well for me so far. Sure, you can change up the color theme to suit your taste, but ultimately, the buttons and icons are where Microsoft decides they should be.

One of my biggest concerns was that I wouldn't be able to treat this machine like an overpowered Android tablet - skipping the need for Linux altogether. But thus far, I've found that I'm able to do just that. My Vivobook Flip 14 has been a reliable companion, and I haven't felt the need to install a third-party operating system.

For those who are similarly inclined, I'd say don't worry too much about customization - there's still plenty of functionality to be had with Windows 11. And who knows? You might just find that you're able to start typing your way to productivity like me!
